Matthew Pascall practises in: clinical/regulatory contract law, employment law, Trading Standards law, personal injury, clinical negligence law and inquests and regulatory law.

Matthew has practiced PI and Clinical Negligence law for over 20 years with experience of a whole range of cases varying between routine accidents at work, road traffic accidents and highway claims to more complex work.
An example of one of his more challenging cases involved an HIV+ claimant who was paralysed following a lumbar puncture procedure. Causation was challenged and the case involved expert physicians working in the HIV/AIDS sector, radiographers and spinal injury experts.
Other claims have included medical product liability, cosmetic disfigurement cases, medicinal product failures, as well as routine and specialist clinical negligence and personal injury work.
Matthew Pascall also represents the interests of interested parties at inquests and will advise on evidence and procedure.
Matthew Pascall also advises healthcare companies and other bodies in relation to Trading Standards Law matters, appeals and judicial reviews
Matthew now regularly prosecutes and defends in regulatory criminal cases involving local authorities in the South-East, the Environment Agency, the HSE and the RSPCA. He is happy to advise in relation to issues of regulatory compliance for individual and corporate clients.
Matthew also defends nurses before the Nursing and Midwifery Council, doctors before the General Medical Council, and other professionals before their professional regulatory bodies - misconduct and fitness to practise (FTP) cases, impairment, interim orders (IOP) and suspension hearings, and criminal conviction cases. Matthew Pascall also defends police officers in police misconduct proceedings.
Matthew Pascall advises practitioners and registrants on appeals and judicial reviews from such bodies' adverse determinations.
Matthew Pascall has a strong record in advising in contractual claims and disputes, including business partnership disputes, in medical practices, health and regulatory law, and commercial law generally. He will represent claimants and defendants in the civil courts, and advise on contract terms negotiations for the public and private sectors.
Matthew handles contractual and commercial cases including sale of goods claims and commercial contractual claims. Recent work has included advising in relation to an Anglo-German dispute over the manufacture and distribution of rival but similar products.
Matthew Pascall also advises on clinical and regulatory employment law matters, concerning employment contracts, employee grievances, pay disputes, and discrimination law.
