Alexander Barristers Chambers (The Chambers of Lee Gledhill) was set up in early 2007 by a small number of barristers (lawyers) who specialise in medical & regulatory law.
Bringing together significant expertise under one roof, Alexander Barristers act for members of unions, professionals from various disciplines, and on instructions from solicitors and members of the public.

Paul Moulder has an active practice in civil litigation. His main practice areas are contractual law, education law, licensing law, personal injury law, landlord and tenant law, and regulatory law. His practice also has a focus on consumer protection.

SENDIST/HESC: Paul appears and advises in a range of matters, particularly in the SENDIST Tribunal, concerning Special Education Needs and Disability Discrimination.
Claims handled to date include: Disability Discrimination claims in education services, physical restraint; Special Educational Needs in relation to behavioural conditions, Aspergers and autistic spectrum disorders; school transport. Appeals and advice on wording of Statements. Responsibility for funding of school placement and educational provision.

EXCLUSIONS AND ADMISSIONS: Paul Moulder advises parents and schools on exclusion and admissions matters. He has provided advice and training to Independent Appeals Panels. Higher education/University Appeals Boards. He is a contributing editor of the Education Volume of Atkins Court Forms.
Paul Moulder advises and acts in insurance claims for insured persons and establishments in disputes over policy wordings, warranties and conditions. He has considerable experience in dealing with construction disputes and building contractors, including claims for defective workmanship, contractual negligence in construction, conservatories, flooring and service installations, for individuals and the care sector.
Paul Moulder acts for Claimants in Personal Injury litigation, including slipping and tripping accidents, manual handling, road traffic accidents and accidents at work.
Paul Moulder's cases have involved complex issues of causation in back injury and compensation for restorative dental treatment. He is a Member of the Personal Injuries Bar Association.
Paul Moulder has also represented numerous licence-holders and applicants in relation to their licensing applications, for On- and Off- Licences, Entertainment Licences under the Licensing Act 2003 and previous legislation. He has represented parties in criminal proceedings in relation to the Licensing Act and is able to advise and represent personal and premises licence holders in a number of forums.
Paul Moulder defends registered and other professionals before their professional regulatory bodies - misconduct and fitness to practise (FTP) cases, incompetence, impairment, interim orders (IOP) and suspension hearings, and criminal conviction cases.
Paul Moulder advises practitioners and registrants on appeals and judicial reviews from adverse determinations by regulatory bodies.
Paul Moulder is regularly instructed for both Local Authorities and Defendants in Trading Standards, Health and Safety and Fire Safety Prosecutions.
Paul Moulder also prosecutes and defends in regulatory criminal cases involving local authorities in the South East, the Environment Agency, the HSE and the RSPCA. He is happy to advise corporate clients on issues of liability.
Paul Moulder represents care home owners, leaseholders, landlords and tenants, with contractual drafting and disputes.
